In December 2006 I joined Carol Edgecox , an old nursing colleague on a trip to Bangalore in India.
Carol runs a charity called "Action Saves Kids".She had a vision from childhood to help the orphans and unloved children,and this has now come into being in the form of two orphanages,and other work carried out in the slums of Bangalore.
Together with the dedicated work of pastor Reuben and his family,I was able to witness Love in Action during my stay.
Since my return I have been amazed at the generosity of the Manx people,who have shown great interest and support for this work.
